‘Should I Airbnb?’ is an animated series designed to address India’s misconceptions about Airbnb by educating and inspiring independent, authentic travel experiences.
To tackle the audience’s concerns head on, delightful, animated characters became the inner voices of Indian travellers. The doubting conformist battled it out with the open-minded non-conformist, questioning ‘To Airbnb, or not Airbnb?’ and in the process, turned common travel fears on their head.
Rather than create something expected for the category, Airbnb saw an opportunity to elevate the meagre How-To into a beautiful piece of craft. Something that would make other companies take stock of their own product education videos. (An act of public service in itself!)
