The inspiration of travel, interpreted through design.

‘A Place Called Home’ was an experimental space design / fashion design project initiated by Airbnb and Chinese fashion powerhouse Dongliang.

Seven fashion designers were equipped with Super8 cameras and notebooks, then sent to travel the world and experience the unknown. Upon their return to Shanghai, each designer used their journey to explore the themes of ‘Living’ and ‘Home’ within their signature work. Projects were then exhibited at Shanghai’s famous Dongliang House.
